Lea Lås appointed Managing Director of MediaCom (22.06.2010)

Ms. Lea Lås becomes Managing Director of MediaCom Oy as of June 24, 2010 when the current MD Ari Ojansivu moves on to another position.

- I have worked with numerous clients for a long time and I have a clear mindset on developing the agency in the future. An excellent and insightful service is one of the strengths of MediaCom, according to our customer satisfaction survey, and it is a matter of honour to us to maintain this, Lea Lås tells.

The business environment of a media agency is in a state of constant change. It is a key priority to listen to consumers and to understand them. Therefore, MediaCom has developed new research tools for e.g. monitoring social media.

The importance of digital channels is growing, and a new digital strategist will be appointed early next autumn. A young lion, Digital Planner Juha Halmesvaara, already fortifies the digital team since the spring. He is representing Finland at the Young Lions competition in Cannes, together with Account Manager Annika Kekkonen.  They won the Finnish contest in May and are now facing the international elite.
