An international top school of marketing arrives in Finland (24.02.2010) Press Release 24.2.2010 The highly valued Swedish marketing school Berghs School of Communication starts operating in Finland in the spring. The seat of learning, founded in 1941, stands out from other offering in the field by its practical and inspiring approach. Last year, Berghs was named Future Lions School of the Year at the Cannes Lions Festival. “Several marketing professionals come from Finland to study at our school every year. Now we want to provide our best courses and high-level training in Helsinki, too”, says Pär Lager, CEO of Berghs School of Communication. The school has selected Salomaa Yhtiöt as its partner. “We wanted an associate with an extensive experience and profound insight into the needs of Finnish business”, Mr. Lager explains. “During the discussions we soon realized that we share the same values. The most important reason, though, for entering into the partnership was that there was no equivalent for Berghs School of Communication in Finland, and we believe that there is a lot of demand”, points out Mirjami Mäkinen, CEO of Salomaa Yhtiöt. The operations of Berghs School of Communication will be kicked off in a breakfast seminar for professionals in Helsinki on Wednesday, 24 March.
