Vesa Jordan to become ICT Director at Salomaa Group (01.12.2009)

Vesa Jordan, 46, has been appointed ICT Director at Salomaa Group. In his new position, one of Mr Jordan’s most important goals is to boost marketing services’ competitiveness by means of technology solutions.  Salomaa Group of companies is Finland’s largest provider of marketing, marketing communications and consulting services.

Vesa Jordan has worked in media business for 20 years. To Salomaa Group, he moves from the position of IT Director at the publisher A-lehdet Oy. At A-lehdet, he was also responsible for the digital media unit and was a member of the Executive Group for the last year.  Previously, Mr Jordan has been employed by companies such as Alma Media and Helsinki Media. Mr Jordan is a member of IT Forum, an association of Finnish companies’ IT leaders.

Vesa Jordan starts his work at Salomaa Group on January 18th, 2010.

He will be responsible for developing and steering the ICT environment at Salomaa Group of companies.

“The media and marketing business is at a turning point. We need to be agile to react to the changing situations”, says Vesa Jordan. “Technology will enable a more flexible way of operating.
